Is your organization transparent?
Our organization values transparency in that we will post any invoice for medical care so that you know the animals are receiving the care they need and deserve. We provide updates on animals as they heal and as they get adopted. Our rescue saves receipts and post large purchase needs on our Facebook page whenever we ask for donation help.
How much of my donation directly supports the cause?
Donations directly support the costs associated with running our rescue from purchasing the food/supplies, storing the items for our rescue animals or outreach families, providing medical care such as sterilizations, vaccinations, emergency care, and microchipping.
Can I organize a fundraising event at my work?
We would love to work together to create a fun and engaging event at your place of work or at an event. We have previously had events such as Puppy/Kitten Yoga, a Puppy-bowl Party, adoption events at cider mills and farmer's markets. Our directors have experience with event planning and we are very flexible with the type of fundraisers we do to make it fun for the group as well as benefit our rescued animals.
What is the minimum age to volunteer?
We accept any age with parental supervision at our adoption events and volunteer opportunities. Many of our foster animals are handled regularly by children so we have many different fun things to include the whole family. Let us know if your teen is looking for volunteer hours for school as well.
